Respect for the Constitution PDF Print E-mail

The Constitution should return to its rightful place as the law of the land. It is not a living document, and it should only be amended as it was designed. Judges are to rule on what it states, not what they think it means. Currently they pick and choose what they want and disregard what they do not want. A case in point:

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”

It is plain, but still they are trying to get rid of it and say that it doesn’t mean what it says. All laws of the United States should and must conform to the Constitution of the United States of America. No exceptions!
