It is said that life is a series of journeys and those journeys are what life is all about. I embarked upon a trip that started over a year ago meeting people all across North Alabama. The highlight of the entire campaign for me was meeting so many great Alabamians and finding that so many of them believe in the same conservative pillars that I do. The friendships formed over the course of this adventure will last a lifetime and for that I am truly grateful.
I wish I could thank each and every voter individually that had faith in me and marked their ballots next to my name. To those that volunteered, donated and prayed, you are very dear to me and I appreciate each and every thing you did for me.
I urge each of you to continue to seek out solid conservative candidates and support them. The beginning of true prosperity is the reduction in the size and scope of government and that brings us to the Constitution. It took us a long time to get where we are and it will be a battle to return back to the nation we once were.

I am proud and humbled to receive the endorsement of Wallbuilders' founder David Barton. David is also the former vice chairman of the Texas GOP. The text of David Barton's endorsement radio-spot is quoted below:
